More of what we make

We are a small printing press that lovingly crafts all of the maps sold on this site. We spend many weeks mapping and photographing the parks we feel are treasures of public wilderness.

outrageGIS mapping began in 1997. Our trail maps are done 'on spec' and funded completely from map sales. We have mapped over 1,330 miles of park trails and have published numerous guides and maps.

We make maps for tourism, education, E911 services, search and rescue, resource management, and recreational uses.

We offer custom GPS, GIS, and cartographic services. We operate a full printing studio for offset, oversized maps and book publishing.

We create topographic maps for outdoor recreation. Our maps cover wilderness destinations in Kentucky, Tennessee, & North Carolina. Our maps have GPS mapped trails, elevation contours, aerial photography and GPS grids for precise navigation.
